L'incantesimo della poesia è imparentato con il mistero seminale (semiologia) che lega la cosa alla parola che la designa. Si potrebbe ricostruire il capostipite di tutti i linguaggi, eppure il mistero continuerebbe ad esistere e non si sarebbe fatto un solo passo in avanti nella spiegazione del perché agli oggetti concreti come a quelli astratti siano stati associati proprio quei suoni articolati e non altri. Credo che parte del fascino della poesia stia proprio nell'evocare il più antico tra i riti e di risalire a quel gesto originario di assegnazione di un nome a ciò che prima di allora ancora non sapeva parlarci: quando il Crotalus Adamanteus entra a far parte dell'ars poetica, è come se fosse nominato per la prima volta. Ars Poetica "The Crotalus Adamanteus' venom contains a thrombin-like enzyme (TLE), called crotalase, that is capable of clotting fibrinogen, leading to the secondary activation of plasminogen from endothelial cells. In general the venom can be described as highly necrotizing, mildly proteolytic and containing a large phosphodiesterase fraction.
